Delivr Pages: How do I add SoundCloud audio track or SoundCloud playlist?

24 May 2013

Use the Media Block feature to add a SoundCloud audio track or SoundCloud playlist to a Delivr page-type campaign (a page-type campaign is a mobile-friendly landing page hosted on Delivr).

See example here.

The Media Block field gets presented when creating a new page-type campaign:

For existing page-type campaigns Media Block can be accessed when editing the campaign. The Media Block field can be found next to the ‘Media Block URL’ line item on the page-type campaign ‘Edit’ page.

To add a SoundCloud track or playlist enter the SoundCloud’s track ‘Widget Code’ code into the Media Block field. Here is how to do this:

  1. Go to a SoundCloud page for the soundtrack or playlist you want to add. An example page URL: https://soundcloud.com/mrsebp
  2. Click on the fourth icon from the right below the sound track/playlist you want to add; it is the icon with the rectangle and arrow and the word ‘Share’.
  3. When the dialogue box opens, look for the section named ‘Widget Code’, currently in the middle of the dialogue box.
  4. Select and copy the ‘Widget Code’ code.
