Power and internet were restored to our main hosting facility today but we want to experience at least 24 hours of stability before switching back.
What occurred and what actions were taken.
Our NY-based data center experienced power and Internet loss during the recent storm. We immediately switched the Delivr service to a backup system located at a second location. URL-based QR Codes (and short URLs) redirected to their respective Destination URLs without significant interruption. Unfortunately, some of the mobile-friendly page options we provide took longer than we anticipated to restore – our sincere apologies for that. Additional measures are being put in place to mitigate interruptions like this in the future.
