The birth of Delivr.

Before Delivr was PercentMobile. PercentMobile was an early mobile analytics service launched as a lab to help brands better understanding their mobile audience and explore new ways to visualize data.

For several years, PercentMobile was provided for free to site owners who appreciated a mobile analytics service designed for people, not specialists. In return, we had the privilege of watching over hundreds of millions of mobile page views across more than twelve thousand sites in our network including  Volkswagen, The NY Times, Coca-Cola, Warner Bros., Burger King, Best Buy, GAP, MTV, and Nike.

Insights derived from this experience led to the discovery of several untapped opportunities including the growth of connections that bridged the physical and disital worlds. Our interest quickly shifted from tracking activity on mobile Web pages to bringing understanding to the moment of engagement.

It became clear to us that the smartphone was the “mouse” of the real world. We became determined to bring understanding to the data and signals being generated by offline-to-online behavior. This shift of direction led to the launch of Delivr and over time the orderly shutdown of PercentMobile. The best of PercentMobile and all we have learned lives on in Delivr.
