How to pause or resume a campaign.

How to pause or resume a campaign.

Need to temporarily take a campaign offline? With Delivr, you can pause any campaign without losing its content, settings, or data—so it’s ready to go when you are.

Why Pause a Campaign?

Pausing a campaign is helpful when:

  • You're running a seasonal or time-limited promotion
  • You want to temporarily halt access while making updates
  • You no longer need the campaign live but may want to reuse it later

When paused, your campaign’s short URL will no longer resolve to the destination content. However, all data and settings remain intact.

Steps to pause a Campaign.

Navigate to the Dashboard

Scroll or search for the active campaign you'd like to pause.

Click the Pause Campaign Icon

Within the campaign's settings panel, click the Pause Campaign icon. This will immediately disable the short URL associated with the campaign. Paused campaigns remain visible on your dashboard and can be reactivated at any time. The screen displayed when paused campaigns are scanned can not be customized.

What Happens When a Campaign is Paused?

  • The short URL becomes inactive – users who scan a QR code or click a link will see an error or fallback page
  • Analytics stop – no new scan or click data will be recorded
  • Nothing is lost – campaign content, tags, settings, and historical reporting remain saved

Steps to resume a paused Campaign.
  • From your Dashboard, locate the campaign marked as Paused.
  • Click the Start Campaign icon to reactivate it and make it operational again.
