What is GS1's role in the GS1 Digital Link?
GS1 is a global standards organization that has established a data structure for companies. This allows third-party developers to create applications that can take advantage of the data now stored in a single barcode, also known as a data carrier.
It's important to note that there are no extra charges for using the data keys created from licensed company prefixes and no need to pay local GS1 country offices.
