Understanding & Implementing Super Simple Serialization.

Understanding & Implementing Super Simple Serialization.

Super Simple Serialization gives each item, campaign, or link a unique, trackable ID—no APIs, coding, or extra infrastructure needed. By adding a unique ID to a Delivr short URL, you can instantly generate and track hundreds, thousands, or even millions of serialized links or QR codes.

Steps to add Super Simple Serialization to a Campaign.

Create Your Base Campaign

Sign in to Delivr, shorten your destination URL, and copy the resulting Experience URL (managed Short URL) link (e.g., https://delivr.com/abc123).

Generate Serialized URLs

Append unique IDs to your short URL in a spreadsheet, e.g., https://delivr.com/abc123/0001, https://delivr.com/abc123/0002. Use simple IDs or more complex structured formats, e.g., https://delivr.com/abc123/[storeID]

Provide the Serialized List to Your Printer or Encoder

Your print provider can variably print QR codes from the spreadsheet. NFC tag suppliers can encode the same list directly into tags.

Deploy Your Materials

Each scan or tap is logged by Delivr. The unique ID is passed to your destination URL, e.g., https://yourdomain.com/?trace=0001

Process the IDs in Your Application (Optional)

Your website can simply ignore the ID, or your development team can use it to deliver different experiences, workflows, and log data

Key Benefits of Super Simple Serialization.

  • Fast setup. No coding or integrations required.
  • ScalableWorks for small or mass deployments.
  • Granular tracking. Identify engagement down to a specific item or location.

Popular Use Cases

Here are just a few ways customers use Super Simple Serialization:

  1. Physical Products. Automatically pre-fill product registration forms when customers scan a QR code. No more typing in serial numbers.
  2. Digital & Print Marketing. Deliver personalized landing pages for each recipient, bridging mass marketing with one-to-one engagement.
  3. Smart Objects. Assign unique identities to packaging, posters, POS materials, parts, or equipment—without creating thousands of separate campaigns.
  4. Inventory Tracking. Give every item a “digital twin” for visibility across regions, detect unauthorized distribution, and manage localized offers.
  5. Influencer & Partner Attribution. Serialize links so you can track exactly which partner or influencer drove engagement.
  6. Coupons & Promotions. Manage single-use codes that expire after redemption.

No Limits

Because you generate serialized links yourself, you can create as many as you need—hundreds, thousands, or millions—on demand.
