Alice℠ AI Terms of Service (Draft)

1. About Alice

Alice is an artificial intelligence-enabled conversational experience designed to help people interact with information associated with products, packaging, equipment, places, services, and other real-world contexts.

Alice may allow you to ask questions using voice or text and receive conversational responses based on information made available to Alice by Delivr, our customers, their authorized data sources, or other permitted sources.

Depending on the implementation, Alice may also help you navigate information, locate resources, initiate permitted workflows, or interact with connected services.

Alice is designed to make information easier to access and understand. It does not replace the original, authoritative source of that information.

2. AI-Generated Responses

Alice uses artificial intelligence to interpret requests and generate responses.

Artificial intelligence is probabilistic. As a result, Alice may occasionally provide information that is incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misunderstood, or inappropriate for a particular situation.

You should use reasonable judgment when relying on information provided by Alice.

Where information provided through Alice differs from official product labeling, packaging, instructions, safety documentation, manufacturer information, regulatory disclosures, or other authoritative materials, the authoritative source controls.

3. Product and Safety Information

Alice may provide access to product information, instructions, warnings, ingredients, specifications, maintenance information, accessibility information, or other content supplied by the organization responsible for the applicable product or experience.

Alice does not independently certify or verify all information supplied by third parties.

Always follow applicable product labels, warnings, instructions, manuals, safety notices, and manufacturer guidance.

Do not rely solely on an AI-generated response where incorrect information could reasonably result in injury, property damage, regulatory noncompliance, or another material consequence.

If you are uncertain about information involving the safe use of a product, equipment, chemical, medication, food, or other potentially hazardous item, consult the applicable authoritative documentation or a qualified professional.

4. Not Professional Advice

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Alice does not provide medical, legal, financial, engineering, regulatory, or other professional advice.

Responses generated by Alice are provided for informational and navigational purposes and should not be treated as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Alice should not be used to make emergency, life-safety, medical, legal, financial, or other high-impact decisions without appropriate independent review.

5. Customer-Provided Information

Organizations using Alice may provide product information, documents, databases, instructions, policies, websites, APIs, or other information for Alice to use when responding to users.

The organization providing that information remains responsible for its accuracy, completeness, legality, and appropriateness.

Delivr does not assume responsibility for errors or omissions in information supplied by a customer or other third party.

6. Your Use of Alice

You may use Alice only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these AI Terms and Delivr’s general Terms of Service.

You may not use Alice to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• infringe or misappropriate another person’s rights;
• attempt to circumvent security or access controls;
• obtain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, data, or services;
• introduce malicious software or harmful instructions;
• interfere with or disrupt Alice or systems connected to Alice;
• intentionally manipulate Alice into producing unlawful or harmful content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority;
• use Alice to facilitate fraud, deception, abuse, harassment, or other unlawful activity; or
• reverse engineer or systematically extract protected components of Alice except where permitted by applicable law.

7. Actions Taken Through Alice

Certain implementations of Alice may allow users to initiate actions, requests, transactions, or workflows.

Where appropriate, Alice may request confirmation before performing an action.

You are responsible for reviewing information presented to you before authorizing an action.

An action is not necessarily complete merely because Alice has acknowledged a request. Where applicable, completion may depend on a connected system, service provider, customer system, or other third party.

Delivr may limit, suspend, require additional confirmation for, or prevent an action where reasonably necessary for security, safety, privacy, compliance, or operational reasons.

8. Voice Interactions

Alice may support voice-based interactions.

When voice functionality is enabled, audio may need to be processed to interpret your request and generate a response.

The specific handling of voice data may vary depending on the Alice implementation and the technologies used to provide the service. Applicable privacy disclosures will describe how personal information, voice data, transcripts, and related information are handled.

You should not provide sensitive personal information through Alice unless it is necessary for the applicable interaction and the Alice experience expressly supports that use.

9. Privacy and Data

Your use of Alice is subject to Delivr’s Privacy Policy and, where applicable, additional privacy disclosures presented by the organization providing the Alice experience.

Delivr designs its services around data minimization and privacy-conscious processing.

The information processed by a particular Alice implementation may depend on the customer, configuration, connected services, and functionality being used.

Where third-party artificial intelligence, speech, infrastructure, or other technology providers are used to provide Alice, information may be processed by those providers solely as necessary to deliver the applicable functionality and subject to applicable contractual and privacy protections.

10. AI Training

Delivr will handle customer and user data in accordance with its applicable contractual commitments and privacy disclosures.

Delivr does not use customer confidential information or personal information submitted through Alice to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models unless expressly disclosed and authorized.

Where Delivr uses third-party AI service providers, Delivr seeks to use enterprise or API services with appropriate protections concerning customer data, retention, and model training.

11. Accessibility

Alice may be used to make information easier to perceive, navigate, understand, or interact with, including through conversational and voice-enabled interfaces.

Alice is intended to support accessibility, not to guarantee that a product, website, service, organization, or experience independently satisfies every accessibility requirement applicable to it.

Organizations remain responsible for determining and meeting their own obligations under applicable accessibility laws, regulations, and standards.

2. Availability and Changes

AI technologies evolve rapidly.

Delivr may modify Alice, its models, capabilities, interfaces, connected services, safeguards, or functionality from time to time.

We do not guarantee that every feature, response type, integration, model, or capability will remain available.

Alice may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, service interruptions, third-party dependencies, security measures, or circumstances outside Delivr’s reasonable control.

13. Intellectual Property

Alice, including its software, interface, design, technology, branding, and associated intellectual property, is owned by or licensed to Delivr and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content supplied by customers or other third parties remains subject to the rights of its respective owners.

Use of Alice does not transfer ownership of Delivr intellectual property or third-party content to you.

14. Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas concerning Alice, you grant Delivr permission to use that feedback to improve Alice and Delivr’s products and services without obligation to you.

Do not provide confidential information as feedback unless you are authorized to do so.

15. No Guarantee of AI Output

Delivr does not guarantee that Alice will:

• understand every request;
• provide a correct or complete response;
• produce the same response to the same or similar question;
• identify every error in underlying information;
• be suitable for every use case; or
• operate without interruption.

AI-generated responses should be considered assistance rather than an authoritative determination unless expressly identified otherwise.

16. Disclaimer

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALICE AND AI-GENERATED RESPONSES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

DELVIR DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR FITNESS OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUT FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT LAWFULLY BE DISCLAIMED.

Nothing in these AI Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Relationship to Delivr Terms

These AI Terms form part of the terms governing your use of Delivr services.

Delivr’s general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any applicable customer agreement, order form, data processing agreement, or additional product-specific terms may also apply.

For enterprise deployments, the applicable agreement between Delivr and the customer may establish additional requirements regarding data processing, security, confidentiality, retention, AI providers, and permitted uses

18. Changes to These AI Terms

We may update these AI Terms as Alice and applicable laws, regulations, standards, and technologies evolve.

When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date and provide any additional notice required by applicable law or contractual commitments.
